Skin needling, also known as CIT (collagen induction therapy) works to stimulate the natural production of collagen, but also remodel and reinforce the collagen that is already in the skin. Our Exceed device is medical grade, TGA approved, Medsafe listed and FDA cleared. The treatment employs tiny medical-grade needles to create micro channels that in turn excite the release of growth factors that lead to the synthesis of your own new collagen. Skin needling is used for a range of skin concerns and is indicated for all skin types to strengthen and promote bouncy, soft and optimal skin. Our Bioskin Mesotherapy is a tailored skin needling treatment that starts with a hyaluronic peel, we then choose from various ‘Bioskin ampoules’ which are like a serum applied to the skin prior to needling loaded with peptides, vitamins and ingredients to target concerns such as pigment, redness, aging or scarring. We finish the treatment with a stem cell mask and include a take home cream to nourish your skin in the days following.

Is there any downtime for skin needling?
Your skin will feel flushed and warm for around 2 hours after the treatment. This will subside and your skin will feel healthy and glowing. For around 48 hours after the skin needling treatment, you will need to avoid swimming, hot showers, sunscreen, and makeup and be gentle with your skin as it heals and repairs.
How long will it take to see results after skin needling?
You will see results when your skin peaks generally 2 weeks after your treatment. But the real results are continually happening under the surface of the skin! For up to 24 months following just one needling session your skin will undergo a collagen remodeling process whereby more collagen is produced, old collagen strands will be reinforced and structurally the skin will be better organised.
Is skin needling good for acne scarring?
In our opinion skin needling is the best treatment for acne scarring. Because it is aimed at repairing and remodeling collagen, it is ideal to use on acne scarring because it lifts the damaged collagen and gives it better structure. It is best to combine skin needling with other treatment modalities in order to get the best results for scarring.
